Demystifying AI

AI is becoming easier to use and more widely available. Everyone’s asking the same questions. Some are confused by all the buzzwords, hype and myth. I'm also seeing an increase in slang (AI slop) and denigration of people who use the tool.

“Can I trust it?” is the overreaching topic we’re all discussing. I want to take the mystery out.

What is it? How does it work? Is it really thinking? Why does it lie? It keeps telling me I'm a genius! At the top are links about what it is/isn’t, how to build better prompts, how I use it along with a lot of prompt examples.
